Mike is native to metro Detroit, and graduated with his BSN from University of Detroit Mercy and MSN from Wayne State University. He completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice and business degree from University of Michigan-Flint with a focus on quality improvement. He also works part-time in hospital medicine and is passionate about educating undergraduate and graduate nursing students in the clinical setting.
Mike focuses on equity/inclusion, while empowering and educating through family-centered care.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling and hiking the national parks and spending quality time with family, including 2 cats & a naughty Frenchie.
