What you say matters to your child. So much so that we can get stuck when it’s time to start the conversation about puberty and sex with our children. Why? Because it’s awkward and parents were not taught how to do this.

Many well-intentioned parents fumble the conversation. Or they fear they will say the wrong thing, so they say nothing at all. Let’s turn that around.

Workshops and Classes

Your tween isn’t the only one experiencing a change. You’re about to become a parent of a teen! Congratulations!

Maybe you don’t have much practice talking about puberty and sex, but we do. We are here to help you guide your child through puberty by starting the conversation—early—about our bodies, how they change, and how they work.

Puberty presents a great opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your child. The best person to help guide your child through puberty is YOU: You are the expert on your child and your family’s values. We all want to raise young adults who respect their bodies. The first step is to understand how bodies work. Start this journey with us and build a solid foundation of knowledge.

Studies show that children actually want to learn about intimate subjects like puberty and sex from the people that care about them the most.

Consider this: Most youth say their sexual health and decision making is influenced by their parents. A large majority of teens believe that increased parental communication would help them make healthy choices. About half of teens report that they have never talked with their parents about sexual decision making.One out of three of young teens report that they want more information about sexual health from their parents. {Statistics taken from the National Coalition on Sexual Health}

Let us help you navigate these tough talks with your kids. We will give you talking points, resources, and support to start the conversation!
